Aur’a Gold Water received the Superior Taste Award for the fourth year in a row in June 2019. With taste being the #1 attribute valued by consumers when buying food and drinks, the recognition speaks volumes about the water’s quality.

Worldwide Recognition

The Superior Taste Award certification is granted by the International Taste and Quality Institute in Brussels, Belgium and represents the ultimate recognition for the highest quality food and drink products.

All registered products are evaluated by the world’s best chefs and sommeliers for their taste, and only those scoring above 70% are granted the following certifications:

  • Notable taste for products scoring between 70% and 80% (one star)
  • Remarkable taste for products scoring between 80% and 90% (two stars)
  • Exceptional taste for products scoring over 90% (three stars)

For the fourth time in a row, Aur’a Gold Water topped the ranks with its highly-acclaimed pureness and fresh taste and was granted the exceptional taste certification and the Crystal Taste Award.

Jury members included recognized Michelin-starred chefs and head sommeliers from over 20 countries and high-end restaurants including Le Ritz (Paris), former El Bulli and 41 Degrees (Barcelona), and Ledoyen (Paris), to name just a few.

Taste is a subjective concept. When over 200 jury members conclude that a product is excellent, it helps objectivize the discussions and demonstrates the superior quality of that product to distributors, retailers, and ultimately the final consumer.
